PREVIEW: Kennedrj celebrated his first Division title in McCabe last year. And you can bet your bottom dollar he wants more.He let Junge,Soriono,Everett,Osik and Raines go to free agency.Then Kennedrj released Mcnally outright. Houston raided the free agent cupboard by signing Aquino,Castillo and Miyakazi .Spending a combined 35 million. Bennet was then added in the R-5 draft. The Astros are hoping 90million Castillo puts them over the top. But sometimes we regret spending so much on 1 player. Regardless of my philosophy ,the Astros are a better club and should win another Division. Prediction 95-67

PREVIEW: It used to be St Louis and Texas slugging it out for the Division. Now that Houston made it a Menage a Trois (Hows my French).The worst news was that he missed the playoffs and the division by 1 game. And the cruelest blow of all came in the offseason. RK was outbid by the upstart Astros for free agent Castillo. Then he traded away Segui to Cleveland. Now with a hole in his team by the departure of some players .Rk went looking for love in the free agent market . And boy did he buy some ...uh...Players not love.That would be illegal. He signed F/A's Villa,Davidson,Kline and McDonald. Spendin 30 million. He promoted Shipley .Henry and Chapman were added in the trade with Cleveland. RK lost some talent but also brought in some too. Its gonna be a dogfight for the division. Prediction:92-70 Wild Card

PREVIEW: Last year was my first sub-500 year in McCabe. It's obvious my once stout franchise is in decline. So I let Oldtimer Sullivan go to the Market. And waived utility player Davis. I have been stocking up on IFA's and draft Prospects for several seasons .And this year is no different. I have lowered my payroll to 69 million. Which gives me plenty of cap to transfer if a juicy IFA shows up. Perhaps next year i will dive into the F/A market and pick up some bluechippers to compliment my youngsters. Prediction: 75-87

IN: Efrain Steinbach , Glen Cornelius , Julio Mantalban , Mel Naulty , Buck Reed
PREVIEW: Tenacious has been in this league since year 2. And he has a couple of playoff appearances under his belt....well.... that and a killer tattoo of a naked Bea Arthur.But thats another story. He let Hyers, Guerrero and Higgins go to Free Agency.By the way, he is still paying Higgins salary this season. He sent Ganzel to San Francisco In a sign and trade deal. Finally he waived Koh. With the culling of Kansas City complete .Tenacious went to the market and brought in Stienbach,Cornelius, Mantalban and Naulty. Then he assigned Reed after he arrived from San Francisco. I can't see where this club will win the Division .But if they get a run and a little luck they may get a Wild card. A Big May. Prediction: 74-86
