Cincy picks up a ML 2nd baseman who since the trade. Has flat out raked it . The Mets get a Pitching prospect and a Minor League throw in.

The DETROIT TIGERS traded C.C. Barfield to the BOSTON RED SOX for Nick Bolton and Donnie Matthews
Boston picked up a much needed Starting Pitcher. Detroit gets a DH prospect and a ML fill-in for the pitcher that left.

The FLORIDA MARLINS traded Ramon Baek , Charlie Outman and Neifi Vargas to the SAN FRANSISCO GIANTS for Hank Shannon , Hamish Gibbons
Florida gets some bullpen help and a Minor league defensive player. who could be a defensive call-up at roster expansions. The Giants get 2 young bats and a young pitcher. All of them can play in the Bigs. Florida payed way to much for a relief pitcher. Winner !! Winner!! Chicken Dinner for S.F.

 Bra Paddens injury looks bigger than it is . But once you strip away the covers this elbow surgery will cost only 3 months. I've seen Bigger ones.
