Olmedo "Numero Uno" Serra was signed by San diego for 4 million. And he has the distinction of being the first overall pick in the first draft. So far he has a career .298 batting average with a OBP of .370. Not bad in any world. But he is a defensive liability. At 2nd base with 108 errors Are way to many for a big leaguer. And in RF his weak arm won't give him many assists(1 GG). If he was played at LF his entire career...perhaps he could have benn a multiple GG/SS. Still a solid player.

Onan "Southpaw" Park Was selected by The Angles and signed for 8,759,000. And he has been worth every penny!! He was rookie of the year and Cy-Young winner in HighA ball. Then in the Bigs he won another Cy-Young a World Series and played in 6 All-Star games. With a record of 131-72 with a ERA of 3.34 he will be considered for the Hall of Fame. And now that he is on the last year of his contract look for him to get paid in free agency next season.

Florida selected Mitchell "BIG" Banks and he signed for 3,820,000. Big Banks has been the ace of Florida since his callup in season 5. He has to be one of the best hitting pitchers in the league with a couple .290 seasons under his belt. Couple that with a ERA of 3.16 and a 1.17 WHIP. He may be the best all around pitcher in the league. With a Big league ROY and 2 World Series Rings he will definatly be a HOF canidate.

Hipolito Cueto was picked by Detroit and signed for 3,720,000. Hipolito has been a Anchor at SS for the Tigers since his call up in season 5. He's not a superstar in the field or at the plate. But he is solid at both. With a career .277 batting average and .947 fielding percentage who wouldn't want this guy on their team? He just recieved a contract extension thru the 16th season so he will have Tigers blood for life. WINNER!!

The Cleveland Indians draft Harry "one" Arias and he signed for 3,630,000.This guy was drafted as a Basher. And while he has hit for a good average(.291) he has been a disapointment in home runs(243). Perhaps a few years playing for Reigny may ruin a career. But now that he's in Colorado Harry one is making up for lost time. Bashing an average of 30 homers a year!!

The Phillies drafted Tom "I can" Reed and he signed for 3,540,000.Well ....Reed might be able to read but he sure can't spell. Niether can I for that matter! LOL. But this Okie can play LF and hit around .270. Just keep saying "Yes you can...Yes you can!!

The New Orleans Zephyrs signed Ober "The Top" Martinez for 3,440,000. Ober the top could have been a superstar. Yep... while he has outstanding Projections in all aspects. His health is a problem. The only thing that held him back was that Injury in Season 10. Since then its been downhill. But he still has had a solid career hitting .281 and fielding .980. He did win a World Series last year with the Virginians and opted for free agency. Now in Cincy he is playing LF and should be a GG there.

Thurman Jeffcoat was M L ready out of College. And he based his M L league career on Theft and is on his way out. Right now he is 2nd in career steals and with maybe 1-2 more seasons he could finish wit 700 steals. Gone is the 10 million a year salary. And now he makes a paltry 1.1 million. He will be in the HOF disscusion.

The Brewers drafted this guy out of High school. And we knew this kid could hit. But asking him to play SS was a stretch. He never had the tools to play that position but he played there anyways. Andre "Down the" River has a career 99 bad plays at SS. This is the second worst all time only surpassed by Juan Diaz (134 bad plays). Someone please let him play 3rd!!

Bronson " Come on" Mann Looked like a great pick by the Atlanta Braves. But things didn't work out for Mann. With 100 more hits than innings pitched you can see why his M L record is 71 wins and 61 loses. He has done better in pitcher friendly Petco Park going 22-9 in 1 1/2 seasons. He may be Da Mann in San Diego.

Matt "Safe" Sexson was drafted by the Reds and signed for 3,070,000. And he played his entire career in Cincy until he bolted for free agency last year. It's safe to say it was about the money!! Guerilla took him to arbitration 3 years in a row. Now Sexson has some security with a 4 year 22 million dollar contract. While his career .275 batting average is........well average. His GG play at 3rd base is why he signed a long term contract with the World Champs.

Wally "Killer" Driskill was selected by the Oakland Athletics. He held out and signed for a whopping 4,500,000. Thats more than Olmeda Serra the #1 overall . But the blood money was worth it. Driskill has been a Shutdown setup guy and has also filled in as a Closer. With a career 326 strikeouts in 388 innings you could say he Murdered some big league hitters.
