PREVIEW: Despite 3 different owners the last 3 years. The Cubs have won the division. Now its owner #4's turn. Opistrat won this team in a Nude Twister Tourney. He bested 4 time nude twister champ WAN HUNG LO for the coveted title. Opistrat brings his talent of Arm twisting to McCabe. This should come in handy during trade negotiations, although we do have a clothing rule here in McCabe. sorry Opistrat. The Cubs organization first let McGriff , Johnston and Montana go to free agency. They then released Peterson , Tabaka , Alfonseca and Davidson. Finally Huckaby , Montero and Rivera were traded away. With holes to fill ,Opistrat promoted Kennedy , Delgado , Borland and Torres. Thru careful Arm Twisting he traded for Torres , Carrasco , Nakono , Soriano , Ramsey and Watson. Not sure if Opistrat lost his Shirt or Pants in several trades . But this team has improved thru Promotions. If the youngsters perform well the Cubs should win another division. If this team gets on a STREAK (not you Opistrat) . They could go places. Prediction: 90-72

PREVIEW: The 128 million dollar Injuns are looking to get back to the top of the division. And second year owner petec chnaged this team considerably. He let several older player leave to free agency getting a Supplemental pick for Chick Shaw.Petec then traded a trio of young players for several Veteran guys. And finally he signed Veteran players in Collins , Jeffcoat , Estrada , Bold , Martin , Velazquez and Huson. Who fit in with petecs overall philosophy. The Injuns are a high priced bunch of Veteran players. Can they beat the youth movement in Chicago? I think this year they can but not in the long term. Prediction:97-65

PREVIEW: Another 100 million contract and another second year owner in Blaank182. Arguably the toughest division in McCabe . The Reds are looking to win the Division this year. The Reds first let Francis ,Bay and Lincoln go to free agency. Then they released Radmanovich. Blaank traded away Sanchez to division rival Cleveland? After trimming the fat ,he went a shopping. Spending 25 million on free agents Anderson , Lieber , Morris , Navarre and Casain. The Reds then promoted Cervantes and finally Santana was brought in thru the trade with Cleveland. While the Reds ,Injuns and Cubs are at war for the Divison . It seems with the earlier Injun-Reds trade. it's a Civil War!! If the Young Cubs fumble and the Veteran Injuns lose players to the DL. The Reds will be on top at the end. Right now this division is a tough 1 to call .Prediction:92-70

PREVIEW: This is also Simheads second season .And Sim is currently in the Hospital getting a daily spung bath. Hopefully from a pretty Nurse. With a life like that ,who needs Fantasy Baseball !!! Anyways Before Sim went on the D L . He let Velazquez , Howard , Skrmetta , Hernandez and Reyes go to free agency. Then he released Machado. Sim went to the market and picked up bargain free agents Taylor , Martin , Rivera and Manuel.Finally he promoted Rivera and Mahoney . It looks as if Sim is in rebuild mode. He gained a bunch of 1st round picks in the Amatuer draft. And has maxed out his HS and COL scouting budgets. Gett well soon SIM!!! Prediction: 68-94
