The SAN FRANSISCO GIANTS traded George Lieber to the WASHINGTON NATIONALS for Derrek St. Clair
The Nats got a Starting pitcher. The Giants picked up a R-5 CF'er.

The CHICAGO CUBS traded Daniel Belle to the KANSAS CITY ROYALS for Pete Carpenter
Looks like the cubbies needed a starting pitcher. They traded a nice prospect for one. KC will have to wait 2-3 years before this kid hits the Bigs.
