The CHICAGO CUBS traded Willie Lugo to the SAN FRANCISCO GIANTS for Pat Brantley
The Giants pick up a big bat RF'er for the stretch run. The Cubbies get a RF'er with better speed ,youth and defense. Looks like a trade that helps both teams with their deficiencies.

Enrique James
St Louis took a chance when they claimed this guy off the waiver wire early in the season. The numbers won't wow you but he's been pretty solid for the Cards. A stiff groin will keep him out 2 weeks.

Apollo Stanifer

The Phillies Super second baseman is already back on the field. His broken toe healed up pretty fast. Not suprised . Apollo " Astronaut" Stanifer is not of this world.

Gary Graham
Walsh81 is a Tough Cookie. Gary Graham "Cracker" went on the DL for 2 weeks. Then when his Hammy healed. Walsh81 dunked him into the minors.Can't blame Walsh81 though, Graham Cracker crumbled at the plate!! 

Julio Ramirez
The Champs lost their Cy-young pitcher for the second time this season. It's the shoulder again. Could be from lugging all that new found cash around. Can't blame Sylemark for resigning him. He did lead the Virginians to their first World Series title.

Needed a Innings eater in Rookie ball. This guy fits the bill.

The Brewers spent 1.9 million on this guy. Although his Control and Health are low. He could get a shot at roster expansions. Depends if he stays off the DL.
