LAST YEARS PREDICTION:100-62 This team is the class of this division. But the Marlins want another Series and if they have a little luck . Who Knows??

PREVIEW: The Marlins finished with the best record in the N L. Thats the Good News. They were ousted in the playoffs by division foe and the World Champion Virginians. Thats the Bad News. So in the offseason AZNJ70 let Padden and Reyes go to free agency and waived Marshall "Morning" Wood. With a full 25 man roster AZNJ70 signed free agent Ramirez to a 4 year 13 million contract. He will have to move somebody out to plug him in. This is still the powerhouse of the N L South but after the Virginians won the World Series they will be tested . Still they will be in the postseason. PREDICTION:93-69

LAST YEARS PREDICTION:87-75 With the addition of some new blood this team is better but still not as good as the Marlins. They will be in the Wild Card hunt. And anything goes in the playoffs.

IN: Matt Sexson , Benny Sosa , Jesus Santana , Kenny Kirk , Lariel Ordonez
PREVIEW: I predicted this team was improved and that they would get a wild card slot. And while I predicted that anything goes in the playoffs. Never did I imagine that Sylemarks boys would win it all. So Congrats on Sylemarks first World Series win. In the offseason the Virginians lost Martinez, Condrey,Nunez and Sexson to free agency but did resign Santiago Gonzalez and Craig Chamberlain . Then Sylemark released Blake and Webster. With some ready cash available Sylemark went shopping and signed another Sexson , Sosa , Santana and Kirk. Finally he promoted Ordonez to fill out the roster. With the addition of Matt "safe' Sexson and others this team has improved. They will battle Florida for the division. But can they repeat in the Series. Odds are against it bu remember my Prophetic words last year. "Anything goes in the playoffs" PREDICTION:93-69

LAST YEARS PREDICTION:87-75 The Braves have improved the talent pool . Not enough for the division but they will be in the hunt for their first wild card hunt.

IN: Bernard Broome , Dusty Stoops , Wilfredo Martin , Matthew Morton , Zachrey Coles
PREVIEW: Sand did get his first playoff appearance. And they Finished 2 games above my prediction. In the playoffs the Braves were swept by a tough Padres club. With this team on the upswing Sand went into the offseason and let Miller go to free agency. Then he released Nelson, Dougherty, Spencer , Jung and traded Harden to Cincy for Broome. To fill some holes Sand claimed Stoops off the Wire. He then signed free agent Martin , Morton and promoted Coles...again. With a revamped Catching core and a few newbies , Sand will make it a 3 team race in the division. He should battle for a wild card ...at least. PREDICTION:87-75

LAST YEARS PREDICTION:75-87 Not sure why this collection of millionares only won 57 games last season. Perhaps this seasons additions will change that. But until we see some signs of life I'll have to say ......Come on Man!!!

PREVIEW: Again this team showed no signs of life. But they did improve on last seasons disaster.Rsskfs23 let Brow go to free agency and released 3 others. Most of the 4 should not have been on a M L roster.With just a couple of holes to fill Rsskfs27 signed free agents Stevenson and Lopez. Then he claimed "Morning" Wood off the waiver wire.This team signed some talent and flushed a couple of Turds. Still they may have a hard time reaching .500 PREDICTION:76-86
